Across Africa, communities understand their challenges and often have practical ideas for addressing them. What they may lack are the financial resources, technical expertise, and partnerships needed to turn those ideas into sustainable solutions. Through the Strategic Community Sustainable Investment Initiative (SCSII), Hamlinks GCDI works with communities to identify and assess their development priorities. We then connect suitable community investment opportunities with organizations, businesses, foundations, philanthropists, and development partners looking to make a meaningful difference. The projects featured here are based on needs identified by the communities themselves and reviewed through our community assessment process. They offer partners the opportunity to support practical, community-led initiatives that align with their CSR, ESG, sustainability, philanthropic, and social investment goals.
