About Course
This course delves into the intersections of adolescent development, Christian youth ministry, and community development. Students will explore the theoretical foundations of adolescent development, examining physical, emotional, and psychological changes. They will also examine the principles of Christian youth ministry, including biblical foundations and best practices. Additionally, students will study community development principles, including asset-based community development and community engagement. Through lectures, readings, discussions, and practical activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of how to design and implement effective programs and services that promote adolescent well-being and community development. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to develop and lead programs that positively impact adolescents and their communities.
