RESEARCH IN CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN STUDIES
About Course
This course introduces students to the principles and methods of research in contemporary Christian studies. Students will learn how to conduct research in various fields of Christian studies, including biblical studies, theology, church history, practical ministry and contemporary issues shaping Christian life. Students will learn to conduct research using various methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research, historical analysis, theological reflection, and social scientific investigation. Emphasis will be placed on developing critical thinking, research, and writing skills. The ultimate goal is to deepen students’ understanding, foster critical thinking, and inform practice in various areas of Christian life and ministry.
