Master's in Transformational Leadership

To obtain the Master’s in Transformational Leadership from Ezra Christian Leadership Development Institute, a student must successfully complete the required 16 courses for a total of 48 Credit Units (CUs), which is equivalent to 960 contact hours. The program must be completed in sequence as they are arranged over the twenty-four month period of study. Equally, we strongly recommend that students take not more than 4 per semester to ensure a thorough understanding and application of the course materials.

Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a Master’s degree in Transformational Leadership, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to lead change and make a positive impact in their organizations and communities.

In order to apply to a program, you’ll need to submit an online application. Click the Apply for Admission section and make a payment online then proceed to fill the application form. Note that the application form will not be opened until payment is made. ECDLI Admissions Committee meets monthly to admit qualify candidates. Our programs have quarterly application deadlines, therefore early application is strongly recommended. The
Master’s in Transformational Leadership program at ECLDI is designed to equip
students with the skills and knowledge to drive positive change and innovation
in society. To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet specific
academic requirements. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree of any field from a
recognized institution is required. Additionally, candidates must have a
minimum of 5 credits in key subjects, including English Language, Mathematics,
Christian Religious Studies, and any other relevant subject.

Preference
may be given to candidates who do not meet the above academic requirements but
have relevant professional experience in leadership or related fields. Relevant
experience may include roles such as regional manager, team leader, executive
director, or other positions that demonstrate leadership skills and experience
in driving change and innovation. To be considered for preference treatment,
candidates must have at least 8 years of work experience and be referred by a
senior executive within their organization, a board member, or a CLDI graduate
familiar with the candidate’s role and responsibilities.

Fluency
in writing and speaking English is also essential for success in the program.
All candidates must be able to actively participate in the fast-paced study
program, engaging in discussions, presentations, and written assignments. To
support their application, candidates are required to submit letters of
recommendation from academic or professional references, along with a personal
statement outlining their motivation for pursuing the Master’s program in
Transformational Leadership. This statement should demonstrate their
understanding of the program and their goals for personal and professional
development.

A
letter of reference is mandatory to accompany all applications. These admission
requirements are designed to comply with our academic accreditation standards
at our accredited university, ensuring students are well-prepared for the
program’s rigors and demonstrating their academic preparedness and potential
for success.

All applications to ECLDI’s Master’s program require a letter of reference as part of the application process. The letter of reference must be completed by a senior executive officer within your organization, a board member of your organization, or an ECLDI graduate who is familiar with your role and responsibilities and can provide detailed, first-hand information about you. This letter of reference provides the Admissions Committee with a better understanding of your background and potential as a leader. The Admissions Committee will begin its review upon receipt of both the application and the letter of reference.

Upon acceptance into a program, a candidate will select courses from the course list, then add them to their cart, and then make payment via the online payment platform using either Debit Card, USSD or Transfer.

Our program delivery team will be your primary point of contact before and during your period of study. Approximately three weeks before your program begins, you will receive a letter that provides you with access to relevant study procedures and details of the program schedule.

Payment can be made only through direct bank deposit and electronic bank transfer. The detailed information regarding payment will be included with your admission letter.

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing more than 30 days before the program starting date to receive a full refund.
  • Due to program demand and the volume of pre-program preparation, cancellations received 15 to 30 days before the program start date are subject to a fee of 50 percent of the program fee.
  • Requests for cancellation received within 14 days of the program start date are subject to full payment of the program fee.

Deferrals must be submitted in writing more than 30 days before the program start date.

  1. Successful applicants will have to receive a formal admission letter via email.
  2. What to be ready with before the commencement of course: Applicants are encouraged to have a laptop for program activities. We recommend a laptop that supports Firefox, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge web browsers. Our course materials require a high-speed internet connection with wireless access and a printer outlet.
  3. Preparing for your program: Approximately three weeks before the commencement of your program, you will receive a link to the program website, which provides you with access to relevant information. We encourage you to carefully read the information in advance so you can make the best of your time during the study.
